About Us

Prothotic Laboratories, Inc., established in 1988, is a modern, progressive facility committed to providing the highest quality products, services and patient care. Headquartered in Farmingdale, Long Island with a satellite office in Queens we serve the highly diverse population of the five New York City boroughs and Long Island, including Farmingdale, South Farmingdale, and Bethpage, NY.

Charles Quigg, CEO and his team of highly specialized prosthetists have a long history in the fields of scoliosis management and onsite prosthetics. Their dedication and resolve to build a reputable organization has brought recognition from many healthcare professionals within Long Island and the metropolitan area.

At Prothotic Laboratory, we ensure that all of our patients’ needs are met. Unlike many O&P companies who send out their casts for fabrication to third party facilites, we produce our equipment on site. We ensure that only the highest quality materials, components and standards are utilized when fabricating all of our equipment.

Our staff of A.B.C. and B.O.C. Certified prosthetists evaluate, fabricate and fit a full range of custom Prosthetic and Orthotic devices. We are here for our patients before, during and after the creation of a prosthetic or orthotic device. In short, we become “rehabilitation partners” with our patients, working to give each individual a new beginning.

Through science, technology, and clinical skill, experience, and true caring, Prothotic Laboratories continues to help patients discover a new-found freedom, independence and most importantly, self esteem.

“QUALITY WITHOUT COMPROMISE”

Prothotic Laboratory, Inc’s charter starts with quality, taking to heart the needs of our patient first. We have built our reputation on being the very best in the industry.

“A CONTINUING TRACK RECORD”

That reputation continues today, and will carry on far into the future. Our patients know that excellence is in the very foundation of our business. If you aren’t getting the highest level of pediatric orthotics or prosthetics to meet your needs, contact us using the form on the Contact Us page.

Mark Greenstein

Director of Clinical Services

I am an ABC Certified Orthotist and Director of Clinical Services with over 25 years of experience in the orthotics field. I began my career in 1999 as an orthotic technician, where I quickly discovered a passion for creating devices that could improve the lives of others. Seeing the direct impact that orthotic care had on patients inspired me to pursue certification and advance my career as an Orthotist.

My early experience as a technician provided a strong foundation and a unique perspective in the field. It allowed me to develop a deep understanding of how orthotic devices are designed and fabricated, helping me become a well-rounded practitioner capable of creating braces tailored to each patient’s specific needs.

Since joining Prothotic Laboratories in 2019, I have had the opportunity to focus on providing high-quality orthotic care while also helping guide our clinical team. Today, as a Certified Orthotist specializing in pediatric orthotics, lower extremity orthotics, and scoliosis management, I am motivated by the opportunity to work closely with patients every day and help them improve their mobility, independence, and overall quality of life. I earned my Associate’s Degree in Entrepreneurship and Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Johnson & Wales University, followed by my Advanced Specialty Diploma in Orthotics from Century College. I see patients at our Farmingdale and Queens offices, as well as at various clinic locations.

When I’m not working, I enjoy living on Long Island and being part of the community I serve. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, classic cars, and spending time with family and friends.

Since joining Prothotic Laboratories over 21 years ago, I’ve been able to focus on one of my greatest passions: helping children reach their mobility goals. Being part of an innovative team that is dedicated to finding thoughtful, sustainable solutions for our patients has been incredibly rewarding.

I specialize in cranial molding helmets using the Talee system by Invent Medical, guiding families through evaluation, digital scanning, fitting, and follow-up care. I am also proud to provide ankle-foot orthoses (AFOs), and a variety of custom upper and lower extremity braces. I understand that choosing bracing therapy can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to make the process reassuring, informative, and positive. With decades of experience and a patient-centered approach, I work closely with families to ensure each patient receives a comfortable, well-fitting device designed for optimal results, nothing is more rewarding than watching little ones thrive. I see patients in our Farmingdale and Queens offices, as well as at various clinic locations.

When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and traveling with my family. After five decades in this field, I can honestly say that helping patients gain independence and achieve their goals never gets old.

I earned my degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics from Baylor College of Medicine and completed my clinical residency, which included training in five different states. During this time, I gained experience with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams. This experience broadened my clinical perspective and strengthened my understanding of how different environments, cultures, and clinical approaches can influence patient outcomes. It also reinforced the importance of individualized care, a principle I carry with me in every patient interaction.

As the only female clinician on our team, I bring a perspective that helps patients and families feel supported and confident, while motivating me to continually refine my clinical skills and approach. I strive to create devices that are not only functional and effective but also comfortable and encouraging for children as they reach their mobility goals.
